The canteen is open every day during school terms from 9am until 12pm.
Lunches can be ordered via Flexischools every day (an online ordering system) or paper bags (Monday to Thursday only).
Flexischools orders can be placed in advance and regular orders can be scheduled. Flexischools can also be used to purchase tickets to school functions such as discos.
A class representative brings lunch orders to the canteen at the beginning of the school day. Orders are then collected by a class representative at the start of lunchtime.
During the morning the canteen is open for over-the-counter sales of fresh fruit.
We are open at lunch until 12pm for over-the-counter sales of fresh fruit, snacks, drinks and cold treats.
Our canteen is a member of the Healthy Kids School Canteen Association and follows the Department of Education’s NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy. We are also nut-free.
The canteen price list is available online on this website.
We ask that if you write lunch orders on a paper lunch bag, don’t forget your child’s name, class and the money. Paper bags are available from the canteen for 20c.
We do not give credit but children who forget their lunch will be given a sandwich.
The canteen relies on volunteers to help prepare food and serve the students during the day. We can always use help, even if it’s just a few hours every now and again. No experience or qualifications are necessary, just a willingness to help. If you can volunteer your time, please call Belinda Palmer on 0447 509 968.
All canteen volunteers need to complete the Volunteer Handbook and be approved to volunteer by the CSO. All canteen volunteers will be inducted to the canteen and its safe food handling procedures.
Also, we understand that things come up at the last minute. If you are unable make your rostered shift, please try to arrange for someone else to come in your place.
